Mkomazi National Park

Mkomazi National Park is a rugged, off-the-beaten-track safari destination best visited during the dry season.

Characterized by open savannahs, acacia woodlands and sweeping views of the Pare and Usambara Mountains, the park offers a true sense of wilderness and space.

Mkomazi plays a vital conservation role as home to rare and protected species such as the black rhino and African wild dog. Bordering Kenya’s Tsavo West National Park, it forms an important transboundary ecosystem supporting wildlife movement across borders.

With few visitors and raw scenery, Mkomazi is ideal for travelers seeking an authentic safari far from the crowds.
