Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your private Genes Adventures guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. After your journey, take time to relax and settle into your surroundings while preparing for the adventure ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the lodge's beautiful gardens, enjoy the peaceful surroundings or simply unwind after your international flight.

After breakfast, your safari adventure begins as you travel to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees and impressive elephant herds. Enjoy your first exciting game drive while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and predators such as lions and leopards.
A picnic lunch is served inside the park before continuing your afternoon safari through this diverse and scenic landscape. At the end of the day, leave Tarangire and continue to Karatu for your overnight stay.
